 The
Azura is fully equipped for trolling and bottom fishing a wide range
of locations around Bali and Nusa Penida. Casting and jigging equipment
is available for rent at additional cost. The high speed of the boat
allow you to reach the fishing grounds quickly, optimising use of
time, and the state-of-the-art GPS system and fishfinder also significantly
contribute to fishing success.
For trolling we use 50lb Shimano tackle, with artificial lures
in a variety of colours. These have proved successful for a wide
range of game-fish, including mahi-mahi, wahoo, spanish mackeral,
trevalley, barracuda, yellowfin, dog-tooth tuna.
For bottom fishing we use fresh bait on 25lb gear, typically targetting
snapper, grouper, dogtooth tuna, amber-jack among others.
Although there is ample space on board for eight passengers, we
can realistically only have four people actively fishing at one
time to avoid tangles.
NB: Snorkelling can also be included on these trips at no additional
cost.
Half Day fishing charters last 4 hours, leaving at around 7.30am
and 1.30pm. Price Rp. 5,500,000.
Full Day fishing charters last 8 hours, leaving at your convenience.
Price Rp. 8,000,000.
Charters may be extended for Rp. 500,000. / hour
subject to availabiity.
Prices include return hotel transfers, all equipment and bait,
crew, insurance, soft drinks, snacks and ice-boxes, with picnic
lunch on full-day trips. Lunch stop on Nusa Lembongan is also an
option on full-day chaters.
