A journey back in time to animistic beliefs, colorful ikat weaving, and natural beauty!

On day 1 embarkation in Labuhanbajo, West Flores. Afternoon excursion to witness a spectacular ancient whip fight dance by the local Manggarai people.

On day 2 we visit Komodo National Park where you will encounter the fierce Komodo dragons. A refreshing swim and some spectacular snorkeling are planned for the afternoon.

On day 3 arrival in Waikelo on the tribal island of Sumba. You will start a very interesting tour through the "Kodi district" to visit several traditional villages, where ancient cultures still play an important part in daily life. Witness the production of the well-known "ikat" weavings that can be bought here as well.

On day 4 we go ashore on the south coast of Flores to visit “Ngada country” located in the highlands around the Inerie volcano with breathtaking sceneries. You will visit some animistic villages on the hilltops that have retained all their traditional architecture.

On day 5 just after a early morning arrival in Ende you start your excursion to the famous Kelimutu volcano with its the three colored crater lakes. After a short walk downhill, you have coffee and snacks before visiting some villages on the way to back, a chance to see the ikats that are typical for to area of Flores.

On day 6 Arrival in Lamalera to visit a traditional whale hunting village. Local fishermen still practice a primitive form of whaling with their local boats, called "pledang". We will visit this village where whaling and other related activities are still a part of the daily life.

On day 7 Arrival in Lembata, at the town of Lewoleba. One of the most culturally traditional areas on this island finds itself in the bay between Lewoleba and the majestic Ile Api volcano. An area known to produce the best ikats of Lembata. We will leave Ombak Putih on the West coast to drive around the volcano and discover the breathtaking views it offers to re-join Ombak Putih again on the East coast of the peninsula. In the evening beach BBQ.

On day 8 we still have time for a morning swim before going to Maumere airport and fly back to Bali.
