How is born this Classic Oriental Chic Mansion?
First, the villa has been built on the number of doors and windows, Zohra could find in
Java and Bali. The antique windows and doors go by series; each one was attributed to a
wall of the house. Then only, they could start to make the sketches and plans. The Shaba
was born.
In Bali, The Shaba stands out by its unique style, a mix between oriental, classic and
colonial architecture. Inspired by the awe-heritage of Orient and Occident, the decorator
achieved an extraordinary feeling of wellness, comfort and out of time. Zohra is a believer
in the notion that even a home without wheels can be a vehicle for taking you somewhere
else. The Shaba is filled with furniture and touches reminiscent of days gone by, but her
chic and eclectic sense of style ensures the look is timeless.
From the terrace through the windows "en jalousie", with a European-style enfilade of
successive rooms, you are brought to new discoveries at each step. Antiquities from the
Island of Java, antique furniture discovered on other islands of the Indonesian
archipelago, a unique sense of decoration which gives you the desire to replicate it at
home. Besides it is possible since Zohra, interior decorator offers a wide range of
collections full of colors which a perpetual renewal following her new inspirations.
