Living at The Shaba

The between Orient and Occident, The Shaba is an unexpected villa in the heart of Jimbaran, surrounded by coconut palms and their guardian a splendid native white parrot.
As Riads in Middle East, the villa is build around an open sky patio. The interior patio creates a natural sense of flow and a feeling of spaciousness. Perfect to chill out on the elegant settees with the continuous refreshing breeze! Opened or closed, the living room in apple-green shades decorated with antiquities has view on the saltwater swimming pool, made of emerald green natural stones, and the mangroves. When the sun goes down, sunshine pours into the dining room and living room through the trees.
Gourmet delight, the open-plan fully equipped kitchen has been though as a place to cook your favorite dishes and socialize for the aperitif. And with cooking class available, you could discover the wonders of the Indonesian cooking.

Zohra's house is filled with furniture and touches reminiscent of days gone by, but her chic and eclectic sense of style ensures the look is timeless.

An entertainment room with its comfortable sofas is the place to relax together in front of the Plasma screen. Also available DVD, Ipod, and wireless internet.

During your stay at The Shaba, a personalized service is provided so our guests will feel special and truly catered for. Maid, gardeners will be so discreet that you will not be disturbed. A chef-cook could also be at your service and prepare tasty meals.

Following our tradition, we do our best to make your stay at The Shaba delightful by offering you the next services:

• An old Volkswagen car will drop and pick you up every 2 hours (9am - 5pm) to and from Jimbaran beach.
  
  
• We will provide chair and long chair, and should be requested at the front office. Our staff will help you to set up your sitting on the beach.
  
  
• We provide a bag, sarong, and hat. This all will be at your disposition to enjoy your time to go to the swimming pool or to the beach.
  
  
• If you wish to have a small ride around Jimbaran area, we provide bikes which are parked every day in the garden of Villa Balquisse and should be requested at the front office.
  
  
• In the morning we will offer fruits stick between 11 and 12 o'clock at swimming pool
  
  
• Water will be free flow for the whole day by the pool.
  
  
• Enjoy the relax afternoon by the pool, where tea and cookies will be served on the terrace around 16.00 pm.
  
  
• For some shopping, our car can bring you to our shop Haveli in Seminyak, after what you are free to stay in the center.
