The Jewel
The Location
The Jewel is perched high on a hill with uninterrupted views of the whole of southern Bali. The Jewel offers the best of both worlds and for those wishing to avoid the traditional tourist spots we will guide you in the opposite direction towards Bali's southern most tip. Here you will discover beautiful beaches such as Dreamland, Padang Padang & Balangan that until recent years remained relatively undiscovered, accessible only to a few locals and Expats who are in the know. New roads and infrastucture mean that these beaches are now accessible to everyone although they are primarily surfing spots.
For surfers and body boarders the lure of the world class surf breaks at Uluwatu and Nusa Dua and Kuta are irresistable. From this villa you can easily check the surf by looking towards Kuta's famous airport left & right break. Boat rides to this break can be easily hired from Jimbaran village.
Bale
All of this possible from the comfort of the Bale located in its own lotus pond, or the pool side chairs, or the balcony of the Sapphire and Emeralds suites.
Bedrooms
Each of the four King size suites is named and designed around a Jewel. The Sapphire suite up high and blue for the jewel and the sky, The emerald suite, surrounded by lush green garden, The Ruby suite, rich and daring in colour and style takes on the deep colours of the cordalynes in the garden outside, and finally The Amethyst Suite, a lush deep purple, like the evening sky after a storm.
Each room is equipped with telephone, Flat screen 21" TV and DVD player and air-conditioning. The suites are fully serviced by house staff.
Guest Powder Room
Tucked away is the surprise guest powder room... a cave complete with waterfall and outdoor shower, open to the skys above... mystery and romance hidden in this special spot.
Lounging Area
The double doors of the entry open to a cavernous entertaining area, with 3 lounges, capable of seating 12 guests, and a dining table also capable of seating 12 guests.
Kitchen and Dining
The fully equipped main kitchen has a separate wine fridge, separate beer and water fridge, plus extra large main fridge, European stainless steel dishwasher, free standing stove and oven, microwave and small appliances. With stacks of storage space for food supplies, and equipped with 3 styles of China - a Japanese setting for 12, a green granite setting for everyday, and a flamboyant "frangipani" setting for special dinners, complete with Stanley Rogers cutlery and hand blown Polish glasses. The secondary kitchen is also fully equipped for service by the house staff. The two storey staff accommodation also houses the laundry. Guest laundry may be done on site for a small extra charge.
Pool
A plunge in the 3 sided infinity edge pool under the branches of Balis signature tree, the Frangipani, is a beautiful way to look back and admire all that The Jewel has to offer.

The Jewel private villa is an excellent estate for all occasions... The king size suites are a perfect place for 4 couples to share the villa, 2 families with big or little kids, 4 girlfriends on a gateway or shopping trip, an art camp, a health retreat... the choices are endless...

An experienced English speaking driver with a new 7 seater vehicle can guide you through the backstreets of Bali to uncover fantastic bargains, furniture, decorator, clothes. Jewellery. The Jewel has a five star standard kitchen, perfectly suited to cooking demonstrations and cooking school. We can arrange for local and International chefs to come to The Jewel and send you home bursting with ideas for your next BBQ, dinner, or cocktail party.
Rental Rates
All reservations at The Jewel include:

The Jewel is charged for whole rental and gives exclusivity to the rental persons, you will not be sharing!
Low Season
January 9th to July 14th (excluding Easter), September 16th December 19th.
High Season
April 14th to April 21st (2006 Easter Period), July 15th to July 31st, September 1st to September 15th.
Peak Season
August 1st to August 31st, December 20th to January 8th (Christmas and New Year Period).
