Villa Toraja
A serap roof covers main traditional structure. Villa Toraja, adding strong currents of style from Sulawesi. The first floor is wholly open, and dramatic high ceiling is carried on the pillars of a traditional Javanese Jogglo. A cozy TV sitting area is nestled to one side, and the dinning room table that seats 12 is situated as to overlook the lush tropical garden grounds and Indian Ocean. The partially exposed, fully equipped modern kitchen allows for flexibility in usage, whether guests would like to cook socially for themselves, or to be served by the hidden hands of the talented staff. A guest bathroom sits off to one side for convenience. Divided from the living area by a water pond and stepping stones is the first floor mater bedroom. It is fitted with a king size canopy bed, antique teak daybed, and its own private terrace. A work in wardrobe and an ensuite open air-bathroom are added highlights. Bathing Balinese woman overlook the luxury bathtub from a stunning limestone carving. The upstairs master bedroom smells of rich dark wood, setting a romantic feel to mesh perfectly with the gorgeous sea view. Sunsets can be enjoyed by reclining in a the fantastic king-sized Timor Bed, over which hangs a rich hand-woven tapestry. An open terrace, ensuite bathroom, and separate study compose the additional living areas of this room. An intricately carved sofa bed is present to easily facilitate the conversion of the study into an additional sleeping area.
