KLM CITRA PELANGI

INTRODUCTION
In 1999 two commercial divers placed the order for the construction of a 37 meter long traditional wooden sailing boat, known in Indonesia as Phinisi. The boat was built in Bira, south Sulawesi and launched in May 2000. Since the early days the CP has been operated in and around Komodo, Halmahera, Raja Empat and Biak
areas (Papua). Starting from 2008 the Citra Pelangi will be operated for exploring the dive sites around Bali.

SHORT DESCRIPTION OF SHIP FACILITIES
The lower deck accommodates 6 cabins that cater for 12 passengers. All cabins have individual air conditioning, en suite bathrooms and toilets, hot and cold water. Four cabins have double beds and two are with single upper and lower beds.

The lower deck further accommodates the engine room, equipped with NISSAN RD10, 285 HP main engine, 2x Nissan RD8/ Leroy Sommer 60 KvA generators, 2 x electrical Shifauer compressors and all other mechanics required to run the ship.

The main deck supports the restaurant and bar, both air conditioned. The same deck accommodates the kitchen, crew cabins and a  professional, twin lock, fully functional emergency chamber.
The top deck accommodates the bridge and sundeck. Behind the bridge is the location of a large family cabin and separate office.
This cabin is extremely spacious, has en suite bathroom and toilet and has 270 degree view all around in addition to a private terrace.

SAFETY FIRST!
All our staff is ‘emergency first respond trained’. On board we have at any time oxygen ready for use. In Denpasar, Bali’s capital, there is a re-compression chamber serviced by highly trained staff and with direct links to major hospitals and hyperbaric injury personnel in Australia, Divers Alert Network (D.A.N) and the Diver Emergency Services (D.E.S).
